Music &Movement Classes

Encourage your child's creativity, self-confidence, and self-control in a secure environment where he or she – and you – can sing, move, play instruments, and explore the world around them. Each 45 minute class includes a variety of songs, rhymes, percussion instruments, scarves, puppets and parachute play. 

Music and Movement classes provide opportunities for:

• Language Development –  Singing, imitating and vocal play along with rhymes all help stimulate language development in a fun and secure way. Repetition of songs and rhymes ensures your child is familiar with them providing an opportunity for success. 

• Vocal Development – For toddlers and babies, learning to use their voices starts with imitating sounds, playing with the many sounds our voices can make, singing short songs, and chanting simple rhymes. 

• Cognitive Development – classroom routines like coming to get instruments and putting them away, clapping and tapping to music all help to build on cognitive skills and growing understanding.  

• Gross Motor Skills -  from holding and shaking instruments to twisting and jumping ,  your child’s skills will blossom through a wide variety of creative movement.

• Fine Motor Skills –  practice with smaller-sized instruments, finger play and puppets will build on your child's fine motor skills.

• Social Emotional Development – Music & Movement classes build on your child’s social and emotional development through routines, being around other children, practice with sharing, and best of all, play time with you.

• Musical Development – inspiring a love of music.

Prices- 

Baby and Toddler Classes are QR 400 per term (for a10 week term). Siblings receive 20% discount. Payment is due at the first class of each term, in cash.
